Ladders are the traditional method of accessing windows at height, although other methods are now popular, ladders (when used safely by trained operatives) are still widely used within the commercial window cleaning industry.
All ladders used by us are checked for defects before use, regular documented inspections are also carried out. Other factors to be considered when using ladders are: adverse weather conditions, uneven ground and slippery surfaces. Before undertaking any task we provide risk assessments and method statements to ensure that the ladder option for accessing windows at height is a safe one. |
