Prior to the commencement of any works being carried out full and thorough site specific risk assessments and method statements are completed.

SAFEcontractor is a nationally recognised scheme operated by The Connaught Group to ensure that contractors are fully compliant with current Heath and Safety legislation, systems and procedures, traning records, Insurance details and trade references are also checked as part of the rigorous and thorough annual audit that we have undertaken to achieve this accreditation.
Participating in the SAFEcontractor scheme helps both companies and employers
It makes sure a company is compliant with all relevant apsects of Health and Safety law, It means clients do not have to go through the process of assessing the Health and Safety compliance of applications for companies who have been assessed to SAFEcontractor standards - clients will know they have been successfully assessed before. SAFEcontractor accreditation removes inconsistency whereby some contractors may be judged compliant by one employer but not others.
